Welcome to D’Best Comics & Collectables!

We are comic collectors ourselves, NOT a “Dealer” and do NOT have a storefront. We read comics as children in the 1990’s and started collecting again in 2004. As our collection continued to grow, we added the selling part to our hobby in 2010.

To continue to add to my own personal collection, it has gotten to the point where we will buy collections, take what is needed for our collection. Any extras or duplicates we sell, in hopes to try and have enough to buy the next collection and at times, having my hobby pay for itself. Being collectors, we try and sell these comics for less than a local comic-shop/dealer so that other collectors can find bargains and new collectors can get into the hobby without breaking the bank. To do this, I price the comics at the current fair market value and then discount them 25 – 50% off! Typically, 50% is taken off post-1984 to present day comics and 25% off key issues as well as any pre-1984 comics. We operate primarily in the Ottawa, Ontario area, either online (Kijiji), attending comic shows and flea markets. We are willing to come to you (depending on your location) to appraise, buy, sell, trade and depending on book(s)/item(s), offer consignment services.

We can accept Want Lists so feel free to send me what you are looking for. We currently have a decent back issue stock at this time of 50 long boxes, so I could have what you are looking for! We are always looking to add to our own collection and as a result always adding to the back issue stock.
